MATRIX SWITCHER SYSTEMS
Brightlink's Matrix Systems allow you to create a centralized AV distribution hub which can input multiple HD sources and route them to multiple HD displays at short and long distances away, in any combination of input / output.
So what does this mean?
In a typical new home you can find on average 4-8 High Definitions TV’s spread across multiple rooms with just as many sources such as, Blu Ray, DVD, Xbox, Cable Box, Apple TV, PC, etc…
In larger scale commercial set ups like Sports Bars, Restaurants, Casinos, Shopping Malls, Conference Rooms, Education and Training, Hospitals, Digital Signage and Trade Show, you might see anywhere from 1-50+ sources and upto 150 Displays.
With one of our Matrix systems you are able to plug all of your sources into the input side and all of your displays into the output side and easily switch any one of those inputs to anyone of those outputs simultaneously and as well, in certain configurations, make large video wall display from the outputs.
For example you can send one source like your Blu Ray to all connected displays, or send your Blu Ray to only half of the connected displays and your cable box to the other half of the connected displays or any other possible combination you can think of.
All of our Matrix Systems have a variety of control options like front panel button, remote control, IP / PC control, and 3rd Party App control.
Depending on the distance that your sources and displays are from your Matrix system you can connect them with standard HDMI cables if they are a short distance away, and for longer distances you can use a variety of our HDMI Extension technologies such as HDMI over HDBaseT, HDMI over IP, HDMI over UTP/Cat6 cable, HDMI over Fiber, and HDMI over SDI just to name a few.
Our fixed size HDMI Matrix systems typically come in 4x2, 4x4, and 8x8 while our Modular style Matrix system come in sizes anywhere from 10x10, 16x16, 32x32 all the way upto 72x72. The first number being the number of inputs and the second number being the number of outputs. Some of our fixed size matrix have HDMI for the input and HDMI Extension technologies such as HDBaseT, HDMI over UTP/Cat6, or HDMI over IP built right in to the output.
