Brightlink offers a variety of HDMI Extenders with different HDMI Extension Technology that will allow you to extend your HDMI signal anywhere form 30 Meters to 60 Kilometres.
Regular HDMI cables have limitations on the distances you can run because of signal attenuation. An HDMI Extender will solve this problem by converting your signal from HDMI into one that you can run long distances over cables such as Cat5e/Cat6 and Fiber.
The most popular types of HDMI Extenders are HDMI over UTP / Cat5e/Cat6 cable (uncompressed), HDMI over HDBaseT using Cat5e/Cat6 cable (uncompressed), HDMI over IP using Cat5e/Cat6 cable (compressed), and HDMI over Fiber cable (uncompressed).
Depending on which type you choose you will get different distances and different features like IR return (control source from display), 4k resolutions, and POE/POC ( Power Over Cable - RX gets its power from the TX through the cable so there is no need to plug it in).
HDMI Extenders typically come in a set with one Transmitter (TX) and one Receiver (RX). They are plug and play so simply connect your source HDMI cable into the HDMI Extender TX, run your cable such as Cat6 or Fiber your distance, plug it into your HDMI Extender RX and then connect your HDMI cable to the RX and your display. Then power up all your connected devices including the TX and RX and you will start seeing a picture right away.
